The Collections
Tuscany
This mini series on its way is inspired by cypresses and a winery in Montalcino during the Fall season.
Provence
Provence is one of my favorite region of France. Light is the particular quality in their landscapes. My first series was exhibited at la Galerie Imbert in 2016.
Asia
On my return from Tibet, Nepal and India, I made this series with much joy. I used India inks, sand and torn commercial paper to create these paintings.
Sculptures
The stones, mostly limestone from the Ottawa River, are painted with India Ink. I was inspired by the reliefs and the tones of the stones to create the images.
Flowers
Flowers are a mystery. They bring joy around us. I try to give them character and movement. I sometimes express their ability to communicate with us.
Water Bonds
This project, Water Bonds, concerns my siblings. “From a photo, a waterscape, that everyone sends me I paint a body of water while thinking of them. I then paint my view of their image.”
Rocks
The stones, mostly limestone from the Ottawa River, are painted with India Ink. I was inspired by the reliefs and the tones of the stones to create the images.
Landscapes
n my landscapes and waterscapes, my research involves redefining shapes, painting the subject’s essence, atmosphere, character and the mystery within.
Portraits
Faces interest me because it is there, especially in the eyes, that the soul of the character expresses itself. It is fascinating to see how a variation in a hue or curve in a line can change the facial expression.
