Portraits

“Faces interest me because it is there, especially in the eyes, that the soul of the character expresses itself. It is fascinating to see how a variation in a hue or curve  in a line can change the facial expression. I sketch the face on the spot, often quickly, to better feel the person and so my drawings are dynamic and a good reference for my paintings!”
